Jennifer Marie Hanson, 41, found eternal peace on Jan. 20, 2022 at Burlington Memorial Hospital.
Jennifer was born in Kenosha on Jan 19, 1981 to Dennis and Cyndee (LaMothe) Wickert. She had three beautiful children that she loved dearly, Emma and Julius from her twelve-year marriage to Justin Hanson, and Willow from her most recent relationship with Ben Pearce. She graduated from Burlington High School and attended cosmetology school in Winona, Minn. She had a passion for cooking, and she was always sharing food with family and friends. She worked as a chef at Winona College and more recently as a cook at the Town Fryer and at the Great Lakes Dragaway.
Jennifer was very loving and very caring. Her smile was like a ray of sunshine. Her laugh was beautiful, genuine, and contagious. She touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jennifer is survived by her parents Dennis and Cyndee; her children Emma, Julius, and Willow; her sisters Julee and Alayne; her partner Ben; her grandparents Harold and Verna LaMothe, and Sharon Larsen; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Bernie Wickert and Neal Larsen, and her uncle Tim Marshall.
A visitation for Jennifer will be held at Integrity Celebration Center, 2789 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022.
