Kathryn A. Fidel, 57, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021.
On Sept. 27, 1964, at 1:27 p.m., Kathryn Amelia Wagner was born to Rose and Henry Wagner at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. She was the youngest of five siblings. She grew up in Burlington, graduating from Burlington High School in 1981. After high school, she moved to Florida and continued her education. She received her Registered Nursing License in 1985. Caring for people was a passion she carried for 36 years working in Florida, Georgia and California.
In 2003, she married Anthony Fidel and for 18 years they were inseparable. In June of 2021, she relocated from California to Lake Geneva to be around family and friends after the passing of her son in May 2021.
Kathryn leaves behind her husband; sons, Jesse Miller and Lamar Fidel; grandbabies, Marley, Cairo, Phoenix, Emma, Callie, and Legend; siblings, Michael, Terry, Chris, and Paul; her father Henry; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends across the globe who were touched by her warm smile and passion for caring. She also leaves behind her pets, Jasmin and Bella, who made her smile with kisses every day. She was preceded in death by her son, Shane, and her mother, Rose.
Her hobbies were traveling in her motorhome, planting flowers and taking care of her loved ones. She was an avid Packer fan and was recently able to attend her first Packer game at Lambeau Field. Her bright smile will be missed by all. Rest in peace Kathryn Amelia.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
