Kevin K. Lantz, 66, of Burlington, went to be at peace on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, when his journey on this side of the world ended after a battle with cancer.
Kevin was born on Oct. 25, 1955, to Keith and Helen Lantz. He grew up in Waterford and graduated from Waterford Union High School, class of 1973. He received his Associates Degree in heating and air conditioning from MATC.
In Kevin’s early life he was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer, tinkered with model trains, and worked on cars. He was called “Gearhead” by his friends. Later in life he enjoyed gardening, cooking shows, and watching sports. He always gave fun nicknames to those he was closest with.
Kevin is survived by his mom, Helen Lantz; sister, Gail Lantz; nephew, Trent (Emilia) Vukodinovich, niece, Catrice (Jonathan) Schoenfeldt, and great-nephew and niece, Louis and Kennedy Vukodinovich.
Kevin was welcomed into his eternal resting place by his father, Keith Lantz.
A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, at Integrity Celebrations Center, 2789 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. Visitation will be from 4:30 till 5:20 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 5:30 p.m.
