Linda L. Johnson, 71, of Burlington, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Aurora Medical Center in Burlington.
Linda was vorn in Burlington on Oct. 17, 1950, to J. Donald and Marilyn (nee Henkel) Halbach. Her early life was spent in Waterford. On Oct. 19, 1974, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Waterford, she was united in marriage to Richard Johnson. Following marriage, they made Burlington their home.
Linda worked as a hairdresser and was a member of Mt. Zion Church. She volunteered with the Girl Scouts and was a lunch lady at St. Charles. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them at sporting events. She always put family first, enjoying cookout and family gatherings.
Linda is survived by her husband, Richard; father, J. Donald; children, Sarah (Brian) Garver and Jill (Curtis) Lehnert; grandchildren, Grace, Noah, Geneva, Gabriel and Grayson; and siblings, Steve (Patti) Halbach, Teresa (Kevin) Miles, John (Diane) Halbach and Gary Halbach. She was preceded in death by her mother Marilyn and brother Tim.
The family would like to thank the Burlington Aurora Emergency Room for their care and compassion during this time.
Services for Linda will be held at Mt. Zion on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 4 p.m. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Mt. Zion on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Linda will be laid to rest at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
