Lucille E. Greunke, 88, of Waterford, passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022 at Oak Park Place in Oak Creek.
Lucille was born in St. Nazinaz on Dec. 21, 1933, to Louis and Esther (nee Behm) Hammel. Her early life was spent in Manitowoc. On April 27, 1951, she was united in marriage to Chester Greunke. Following marriage, they resided in Valders before moving to Burlington in 1965. Chester preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 2021.
Lucille worked at Lavelle Industries for 25 years and at Pick N Save for 11 years in the deli. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, which were her pride and joy.
Lucille is survived by her children, Chester (Kristen) Greunke Jr., Gordon (Lynn) Greunke and Sharon (Bob Kerr) Rueter-Johnson; grandchildren, Justin Koshak, Kristen (Josh) Hegemann, Katie (Justin) VanBeckum and Kellen (Kaitlin) Rueter; and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Brynlee and Levi. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Gordon, Leroy and Donald and sister Delores Schmidt.
