Marcia L Madaus, 69, of Burlington, died March 4, 2022.
Marcia was born on Jan. 5, 1953 to late Willard and Marion (Bank) Madaus. She worked for many years for PATS Sanitary in New Munster and was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Slades Corners. She enjoyed visiting with friends, making people smile with her unique humor, watching birds, and playing Wii bowling. She loved flowers and cats, having numerous pets. Sending cards for every occasion was her forte and she spent hours card shopping.
Marcia is survived by sisters, Marilyn (Larry) Steinke, Mel (Jan) Madaus and Marlene (Steven) Krueger; nieces and nephews, John (Theresa) Steinke, Maribeth (Mark) Uhlig, Ashley (Darrin) Baumeister and Ryan Madaus; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 39506 60th St., Burlington, (Slades Corners). The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Burial will follow in parish cemetery. Memorials in Marcia’s name may be made to the church.
