Mary was born May 1, 1952, to Lester and Ruth (nee Korsholm-Martin) Osenga in Racine. Her early life was spent in the Burlington and Lake Geneva area. She graduated from Burlington High School “Class of 70”. On Dec. 6, 2008, she was united in marriage to Timothy James Coutley in Milwaukee. Following their marriage, they resided in Burlington. Mary worked in the banking business starting at First Bank S.E. Lake Geneva in 1981. Starting in 1994, she became an Executive Secretary working for Town Bank and retiring from Talmer Bank and Trust in 2014.

Mary was a former member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club and former member of the Society of Executive Secretaries. In her free time, she loved to bake, do cross stitch, enjoyed coloring, watching birds, and especially taking time to vacation in the Caribbean. More than anything, she treasured spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Osenga; stepfather Richard Meister; dearest Aunt Ruby Alswager; and brother-in-law Robert Eckrich.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials honoring Mary be made to the family or to Fisherhouse.org.

Mary’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Randy Schmidt, Dr. Bob Fait, and very dear friends JC and Sandra for all their care and compassion at this difficult time.
