Melissa L. “Missy” Strasser, 55, of Waterford, passed away Sept. 16, 2022.
Missy was born in Publaski, Virginia, on Oct. 15, 1966, to Edgar and Janice (nee Cressell) Eastridge. Her family moved to Wisconsin in 1970, where she graduated from Burlington High School. She and her husband Tom “Fuzzy” meet at the Hunter’s Ball in Tichigan in the fall of 1996. On June 26, 1999, the couple married at St. Clare Catholic Church in Wind Lake. She was the proud owner of Captain Missy’s for many years. In her spare time, she spent time with her dogs, gardening, and being a big supporter of the Waterford Wolverine trap shooting team and many other community events. She cherished time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed.
Missy is survived by her mom, Janice Eastridge; husband Thomas J. Strasser; children, Wyatt (Kate Potrzebowski) and Jessica; her dogs, Cooper and Gator; a super special friend Yvonne Bauman; other relatives, and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Eastridge.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022, from 10 until 11:45 a.m. at St. Clare Catholic Church, 7616 Fritz Street, Wind Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will start at noon. Burial will follow at Caldwell Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Child Research Hospital.
