Nancy A. Goetsch, 99, of Honey Creek, passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022 at Lakeland Health Care Center in Elkhorn.
Nancy was born in Honey Creek on Dec. 20, 1922, to Orlie and Mae (nee Fowler) Miller. She was a lifetime resident of Honey Creek and graduated from Rochester Ag School. On June 5, 1943, at the family home, she was united in marriage to Arthur Goetsch. He preceded her in death on Aug. 21, 2013.
Nancy was a homemaker and worked for Warrensville Egg Basket. She was a member of Honey Creek Community Baptist Church and the Honey Creek Civic Club. She was very active in the ladies’ groups at church and enjoyed flowers, gardening and refinishing furniture.
Nancy is survived by her children, Linda (Thomas) Childers and Kenneth (Kathy) Goetsch; along with eleven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and daughter, Karen Lewis.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Lakeland Health Care Center for their care and compassion during this time.
Per Nancy’s wishes a private memorial service will take place at a later date.
