Patricia “Pat” K. Jansky, 68, of Burlington, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022 at her home.
Pat was born in Milwaukee on April 3, 1954, to Arthur and Sylvia (nee Jozwiak) Wanta. Her early life was spent in Milwaukee, where she graduated from South Division High School. On April 16, 2001 in Las Vegas, she was united in marriage to John Jansky. Following marriage, they made Elkhorn their home before moving to Burlington in 2015.
Pat worked as an administrative assistant for Gateway Technical College. She enjoyed gambling, bird watching and reading. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters as they were her life.
Pat is survived by her husband, John of Burlington; children, Joe Campbell of Iowa City, Iowa and Kelly (Dan) Iselin of Burlington; step-children, Julia Jansky of Wauwatosa and Jacob Jansky of Franklin; granddaughters, Amber and Emma; siblings, Robert “Butch” (Joanne) Wanta, Barbara (Allen) Kugi, Gerald (Darleen) Wanta, Ronald (Wendy) Wanta, Larry (Gail) Wanta, Nancy Wanta, Richard Wanta, and Dave (Janet) Wanta; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services for Pat will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 at Noon at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10 until 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
