Randy James “Huntzee” Dexter, 63, of Burlington passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, at Aurora Burlington Memorial Hospital. He was born July 1, 1959, to Edwin “Wally” and Celesta (nee Corbett) Dexter in Burlington. He was a lifelong resident of Burlington. He graduated from Burlington High School, Class of 77.
Randy worked as a tree trimmer for Asplundh Tree Service and also built homes and pole barns. He was a very gifted and artistic wood worker. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, trapping and fishing.
Randy is survived by his mother Celesta; son Cody James Dexter; granddaughter Vera Dexter; siblings, Timothy (Julie) Dexter, Gerald (Carol) Dexter, Rick Dexter Greil and Brian (Raegan) Dexter; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and doctors at Aurora Burlington Hospital, Aurora at Home Hospice and the staff at Froedtert Hospital for all their care and compassion.
Per Huntzee’s wishes, no services will take place.
