Sue K. Schneider, 69, of Elkhorn, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2022 at Lakeland Medical Center.
Sue was born in Burlington on Sept. 10, 1953, to Richard and Virginia (nee Schmaling) Henning. Her early life was spent in Lyons and she graduated from Burlington High School. On Sept. 6, 1978 she was united in marriage to Randy Schneider. Following marriage, they resided in Burlington for most of their lives.
Sue worked as a proofreader for Southern Lakes Media for 36 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, needlepoint, baking, reading and watching HGTV.
Sue is survived by her children, Amanda Schneider, Yvonne (Joe Heck) Schneider, Melanie (Nick) Riggle, Danielle (Jusiah) Fuoss and Wendy (Justin) Gorski; grandchildren, Corrine, Dylan, Laureli, Madison, Lillian, Michael, Lacy, Kendall, Marissa, Nicholas, Hope and Bella; and siblings, Dale Henning and Mary Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband and brothers, Richard Henning Jr. and Timothy Henning.
Services for Sue will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
