Terry Wayne Lemmon passed away in his sleep at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington on Sept. 17, 2022, at 5:45 a.m.
Terry was born in Akron, Ohio on March 15, 1951. He was the pastor at Burlington Church of the Nazarene for 29 years. He loved riding his motorcycle, feeding the birds, making people laugh, and sharing the love and hope of Jesus. He loved his children and grandchildren with his whole heart; and loved and adored Darlene, his wife of 46 years.
Until we meet again, he is leaving behind his wife Darlene Lemmon of Burlington; his children Renee Lemmon Stone of Burlington, Brady (Jennifer) Lemmon of Fredricksburg, Virginia, Darcy Lemmon of Jacksonville, Florida, and Carly Lemmon Morby of Burlington; and beloved dog Sparky. Terry will be further missed by his grandchildren Michael Stone of Denver, Colorado, Brittney Stone of Clearwater, Florida, Wayne Lemmon of Delafield, Taryn Lemmon of Richmond, Virginia, Dylan, Tierra, and Julayne Morby of Burlington, OSS Irelyn Loback of Yokosuka, Japan, and Payten Loback Pynckel, Micah Loback and Marley Loback of Florida.
Terry was preceded in death by his beloved grandson Hunter David Morby and his parents Wayne and Patricia Lemmon.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at Mt. Zion Christian Church, 2230 WI 120 Lake Geneva, on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. followed by luncheon at church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests perennial plants or birdseed.
