Victor H. Rubach, 77, of Burlington, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022 at his home. He was born June 30, 1944 to Vernon and Marion (Clark) Rubach. On Jan. 23, 1965 he was united in marriage to Patricia Rasmussen in Burlington.
Victor previously worked at Riverview Manor in Burlington as a maintenance man. His first year there, he received the maintenance of the year award in recognition of excellence in maintenance services in 2015.
Vic loved shooting guns, gardening, building model ships and planes and was into model railroading.
Victor is survived by sons, Gerald Rubach and Wayne (Destine) Rubach; grandchildren, Bodie (Anastacia) Rubach and Gage (Taylor Mullikin) Rubach; and great-grandchild, Mars Rubach.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Western Racine County Special Olympics.
Victor’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Aurora Burlington and Mount Pleasant Aurora. Also thank you to Dr. Mary Bieneman and staff. A very, very grateful thank you to all the helpful, friendly and patient staff of Hospice of Burlington and Walworth County. The transition you helped us through will never be forgotten.
