Wanda Juanita Moss, 96, of Burlington, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at her home.
Wanda was born in Little River, Kansas on Oct. 30, 1925, to Herman and Claudine (nee Briscoe) Reschke. On Sept. 14, 1945 in Carlsbad, New Mexico, she was united in marriage to Glen Moss. Following marriage, they lived in Kansas before moving to Wisconsin in 1960. Glen preceded her in death on June 9, 2006.
Wanda was a housewife and member of United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. She loved quilting, sewing, playing bingo, playing cards and spending time with her family. She and her husband Glen loved to travel and travelled through all 50 states. After Glen’s passing, she enjoyed travelling to Kansas and staying with her sister-in-law Jeanne.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Krista (Rodney) Arneson and granddaughter, Kelly Arneson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters, Linda Kay and Nedra Sue; brothers, Lawrence, Kenneth and Dale; and sisters, Hazel, Mae, Betty and Eula.
Services for Wanda will be held on Tuesday, April 19 at 7 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Other Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, April 19 from 5 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. A funeral service will also be held at the Congregational Church in Little River, Kansas and burial will follow the service at Bean Cemetery in Little River.
