William Lee Rausch, 74, of Waterford, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Oct. 2, 2022.
William was born to Harland and Lucille (nee Egofske) Rausch on March 30, 1948, in Waukesha. He was raised in Franklin until the age of ten when the family moved to their farm in Big Bend. He went to Mukwonago High School. At the age of eighteen, he moved to Waterford and started his trade of concrete construction and would be self-employed for years. William liked to hunt and fish. He was just an all-round outdoorsman. His greatest joy was his family with whom he loved spending as much time with as he could. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
William is survived by children, Tina (Jerry) Hoeft, Tanya (Jim) Maney, and Lee (Lydia) Rausch; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Harland (Linda), Tom (Susie), Mary (Sam) Janovich, Lydia (Glenn) Treganza, Ron (Karen), Fred, Joe (Mary), Jim (Donna), Jerry (Maria), and Greg (Nancy); nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Nick, brother John and sister Lorelie.
