Bob Roberts, 65, of Burlington, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023, at his home with his daughters at his side.
Bob was born in Waukegan, Illinois on Feb. 1, 1958, to Douglas and Grace (Watson) Roberts. His early life was spent in Round Lake, Illinois, where he lived for nearly 40 years and raised his family with his former wife of 30 years, Nicki.
Bob was an Engineer for Baxter Health Care but found his true calling as a volunteer firefighter for almost 20 years for the Town of Burlington, retiring as Captain in 2022. He spent his free time restoring his classic Impala, woodworking. He especially loved landscaping and spending time on his porch swing.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Kelly (Patrick) Roberts-Schmidt, Kristin Evans, and Corie (David) Leifker; grandchildren, Andrew (Maddie), Ella, Jack, Violet, Charlotte, and Connor; his great-granddaughter Luna; brothers, Douglas, Don and Pete Roberts, and sister Dawn Zeman. He is preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Wisconsin Burn Camp, an organization that Bob cared about deeply.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, Sept. 1, 2023, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will take place at 7 p.m.
