Frederick B. Fabian, 81, of Lyons, passed away on Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva.
Fred was born on Aug. 29, 1942, in Burlington to Howard and Dorothy (nee Ebbers) Fabian. He grew up in Burlington and graduated from Burlington High School. On April 25, 1994, Fred was united in marriage to Linda Ladik in Las Vegas. Following marriage they made their home in West Bend, before moving to Lyons. They have been residents of Lyons for the past 24 years.
Fred worked as a press operator at the Hi-Liter and at Thomas Bus Services. He loved to bake, gamble, and watch sports, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and visiting his daughter in Tomahawk.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Linda; children, Mike Fabian, Debbie Gerke, Donna Bettin, Nicole (Randy) Belongia, and David (Natalie) Bettin; grandchildren, Dustin (Missy) Fabian, A.J. (Priscila) Schroeder, Eric (Jamie) Schroeder, Alyssa Belongia, Cloe Belongia, Audrey Bettin, and Elliott Bettin; and great-grandchildren, Carter Fabian, and Amiyah, Sonny, Ella, and Kye Schroeder. He is further survived by his brother Richard Fabian; sister-in-law Carol Fabian; his faithful four-legged companion Louie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, James Fabian and Marilyn Fabian; as well as his son-in-law Todd Gerke.
