Gerald A. Koch, 78, of Burlington, passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2023 at his home.
Gerald was born in Oconomowoc on April 25, 1944, to Raymond and Ruth (nee Saeger) Koch. His early life was spent in the Town of Summit. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. On Nov. 24, 1966 in West Allis, he was united in marriage to Susan Proeber. Following marriage, they made Burlington their home. He was a resident of Burlington for 52 years.
Gerald worked as a car salesman for Miller Motors and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Burlington Jaycees, Burlington Chamber of Commerce and The National Model Railroad Assoc. He was past president of Jaycees and Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed model railroading and attending car and tractor shows. He also enjoyed his 1984 Mustang.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Tim (Jennifer) Koch and Amy (Jason) Mikeska; grandchildren, Mason Mikeska and Aaron Koch; siblings, Raymond (Mary) Koch, Joyce (John) Ewing, Joan (Mark Lexa) Meier and Keith (Sheri) Koch; and sister-in-law, Cynthia Proeber. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law, Richard Meier and James Proeber.

Funeral Services for Gerald will be held at Noon on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023 at Peace Lutheran Church in Burlington. Relatives and friends can visit with the family at the church on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023 from 10 until 11:45 a.m. Burial will follow in Burlington Cemetery.
