JACK WILLIAM FRANK MEYERS

Jack William Frank Meyers, 16, of Burlington, tragically passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

Jack was born on Aug. 5, 2006, in Burlington to William “Billy” Joseph Meyers and Denise Marie Lois. He was a lifelong resident of Burlington.

Jack attended Burlington High School and was in his junior year. He worked for Grand Geneva Resort and Spa as an aspiring chef. Jack attended Mount Zion Church in Lake Geneva and was a member of The Common Grounds.

Jack loved music. He loved singing with his parents and brothers. He was passionate about drawing, Dungeons and Dragons, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was an animal lover and loved helping the homeless. He had big plans for his future and was on time to graduate next year.

Jack wanted to be a boxer and was starting to train at the Aurora Wellness Center. Jack had the kindest heart and wasn’t afraid to stand up for what was right. He loved everyone and was loved by everyone.

Jack is survived by his parents, Billy Meyers (Stephanie Rawson) and Denise Lois (Dylan Simmons); brothers, Michael Lois, Travis Smith and Ezhryn Black-Meyers; his one and only niece Kassidy Lois; grandparents, Mary and Brian Swartwout, David and Elizabeth Lois and Larry Sr. and Jeannine Lois; many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends, and his dogs, Lilly and Sirabi; Larry the lizard, and Riggy the cat.

There is so much more we could say about Jack but whether you knew him or not you would probably think he was a fine young man.

Our son in heaven, rest in peace.
