Janice I. Grady, 84, of Burlington, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Pine Brook Pointe.
Janice was born on July 29, 1938, in Michigan to Claude and Jessie (nee Hanna) Morgan. Her early life was spent in Southeast Michigan, where she graduated from Northville.
On Sept. 21, 1957, at Northville United Methodist Church, Janice was united in marriage to Bobby J. Grady. Following their marriage they resided in Northville and Belleville, Michigan, Marion, Texas before settling in Burlington. Bobby preceded Janice on Jan. 12, 2008.
Janice was a homemaker and a devoted Christian who enjoyed reading and studying. Her hobbies included playing cards, games, gardening, cooking, baking, and doing arts and crafts. She was very proficient in hand-tooling leather and creating headpieces for many dance recitals.
Janice is survived by her children, Barry (Susie) Grady and Arlene (Greg) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Christina (Michael) Heinzelmann, Melissa (Max) Easley, Amanda (Jerry) Scott, and Benjamin (Jordan) Altevers; 14 great-grandchildren and her sibling Pat Hogenson.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and half-sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a time of sharing at 1 p.m.
