Karon Kay Legan, 83, of Waterford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Jan. 14, 2023, at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc. She was born on April 25, 1939 to Robert and Eleanora (nee Henke) Umbreit in Milwaukee.
Karon is survived by her children, Scott E. (Juli) Legan, Guy J. (Robyn – deceased) Legan, Tracy L. (Kevin) Delimat, Aaron J. Legan and Douglas E. (Amy) Legan; her grandchildren, Joshua (Megan) Legan, Travis Legan, Alex (Ashley) Legan, Spencer (Tessee) Legan, Tiffany (Ross) Jones, Amanda (Richard) Thinnes III, Margaret Karon (Federoff) Legan, Cody Legan, Danielle (Ryan) Helmer, Geir Legan, Casey Legan, Savannah (Lance) Dell, Karly Kay Legan and Bethany Legan; her great-grandchildren, Hunter and Lainey Legan, Nolan and Griffin Legan, Drake and Meadow Legan, Ty and Taylor Jones, Charlotte, Kaylynn, Colton and Allison Thinnes, and Scarlett Federoff; her sister, Marylin (Bob) Schluga; and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Vilamae Umbreit; her brothers, Robert and Vernon Umbreit; and her aunts, uncles and grandparents.
Karon was very artistic and creative. She had a long career as a floral manager. She loved her Tennessee Fox Trotter, Rose. She was very proud of her five children, 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
