Mark R. Marcinkowski, 76, of Waterford, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2023 at his home.
Mark was born in Milwaukee on Nov. 18, 1946, to Raymond and Genevieve (nee Miller) Marcinkowski. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Grade School and St. Mary Catholic High School. On Nov. 8, 1969 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lyons, he was united in marriage to Jean Ehlen. Following marriage, they made Waterford their home. Jean preceded him in death on Feb. 3, 2013. Mark was a life-long resident of Waterford.
Mark worked as a machinist for GA Precision for 47 years. He was a member of Wisconsin Bowhunters Association and the NRA. He loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman, hunter and camper, and enjoyed having a drink by the bonfire. He also enjoyed telling tall tales and jokes galore. He was extremely proud of his family and attended all of the school events that he could for his kids and grandkids.
Mark is survived by his children, Jill (Brent) French and Steve (Lisa) Marcinkowski; grandchildren, Lindsey, Brian and Caden French, and Connor and Gavin Marcinkowski; and siblings, Dean (Lola) Marcinkowski and Camille Hechimovich. He was preceded in death by his parents and best friend and beloved wife Jean.
The family would like to thank Dr. Virani and Aurora Burlington’s Interventional Radiology nurses and staff, for their care and compassion during this time.
Services for Mark will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 at 7 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 4 until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.
