Mary Ellen (nee Rueter) O’Keefe, 94, a resident of Naperville, Illinois since 1959, formerly of Chicago and Oak Lawn, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023. Mary Ellen was born in Burlington on March 13, 1928.
Visitation was held on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Naperville. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, at 11 a.m. at SS. Peter Paul Catholic Church in Naperville. Interment is at SS. Peter Paul Cemetery, Naperville.
