Starlene Kay Kriewaldt, who loved to be called “Mom-Star” by her grandchildren, passed away in her home surrounded by family on July 15, 2023, after a long courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.
It would be wrong to say that Star lost her battle to cancer because she never stopped fighting. Through her, everyone that stood by her side during the 2 1/2 year battle truly knows what resilience and perseverance look like.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 with visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home, N1858 Greenville Dr., Greenville, with words of remembrance to follow at 3 p.m. A full obituary can be found and online condolences may be offered at www.valleyfh.com.
