On Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, the angels flew Catherine L. Greeley home to heaven at the age of 81 years. She was born on April 18, 1942, on the family farm to Francis and Leona (Haig) Buckett.
Catherine is survived by her husband of 35 years Peter Greeley; son Cliff (Deb) Peterson; stepdaughters Heather (Scott) Frank and Kristan Pawlick; grandchildren Kayla Frank, Emma and Cora Pawlick, Erin and Taylor Baumgart, William Peterson and Michelle (Peterson) Watson; and great-grandchildren Odin and Averie.
She grew up on the family farm east of Waterford, attended St. Thomas, Rochester High School and graduated from Waterford Union High School. She went on to college to become a teacher.
She taught at North Cape School for 45 years. Peter and Catherine operated the Caldwell Store for 50 years.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024 at the Cotton Exchange, 345 Hickory Hollow Rd., Waterford, with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m.
