CHARLES EDWIN BRINTNALL SR.

      Charles “Charlie” Edwin Brintnall Sr., 88, passed away on Sept. 4, 2024, at Wisconsin Veterans Home in Union Grove with his loving wife of 65 years by his side.

Charles was born July 13, 1936 to John Sr. and Violet Brintnall in Mauston. He graduated from Bradford High School in Kenosha. He then attended Oklahoma A & M before serving his country in the navy in 1955. The honor flight took place on May 16, 2015.

On Aug. 22, 1959, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Jacqueline Roberts. They moved to Kenosha, in 1943. He worked with WEPCO for 26 years. His first love was farming. He also loved singing barbershop. He was a member of the Racine County Fair Board and a long-standing member of the Waterford FFA. He worked the chains of Waterford Football High School games.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jacqueline; brother, Ed (Deb) Brintnall; children, Charles (Cindy) Brintnall Jr., Lynda (Scott) Miller, and Trysha Brintnall; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Brintnall Jr.

A service with military honors for Charles will be held at 12:50 p.m. on Sept. 18, 2024, at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring St., Union Grove.
