Elaine Marie Beguhl, 91, of Kansasville, died of cancer on Nov. 15, 2024, with family by her side.
Elaine was born on June 1, 1933 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee, daughter of Robert E. Bluhm, Sr. and Ida M.H. (Schlueter) Bluhm. She attended Apple School in the Town of Norway. On May 9, 1953, she was united in marriage to Donald H. Beguhl. The two lived in Racine until moving to their farm in Kansasville in 1961.
Elaine was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Waterford where she enjoyed being a member of the Ladies Aid, Altar Guild and Seniors Group. She was also a member of the Racine County Farm Bureau and enjoyed several years with the Fred Astaire Dance Studio. She immensely enjoyed doing family genealogy, crocheting, cooking, planting many flowers, spending time in the family vegetable stand, as well as spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Elaine is survived by her children Eileen North, Donna (Scott) Robinson, Russell (Renee), Jane (Dean) Andreas, LuAnn (Herb) Smith and JoAnn; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends that meant so very much to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, brother Robert Jr., and son-in-law Dennis North.
Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 145 6th St., Waterford, with Pastor Joshua Conradt officiating. Visitation with family will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at Noon. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery, W. Main St, Burlington.
