Martin Read, 76, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. He was born on Nov. 28, 1947, to the late David and Betty (nee Albro) Read. Martin is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Louise. He was the loving father of Terri (Jeff) Baudoin, and Mark (Stacy) Read; and caring grandfather of Roman, Maci, Mitchell and Georgianna. He is further survived by his siblings Polly (Steve) Gerber and Mary (Daniel) Wichman; in-laws Ann (Wayne) Hansen, Karen (Gary) Felkner, Robert (Carolyn) Hanizeski, Chris (Marcia) Hanizeski and Michael (Emily) Hanizeski; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Martin was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Read.
Visitation will be at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel, 8910 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
