Mary E. Barth, 83, of Hazelhurst, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Tomahawk Health Services in Tomahawk.
Mary was born in Milwaukee to the late Edward and Gaye (nee Wawrzyniakowski) Meix. She grew up and attended school in the Milwaukee area and worked for Milwaukee Forge for over 25 years before her retirement. In 2019, she moved to Hazelhurst to be near her son. Mary loved socializing and being around people. Her job as a bartender suited her well as she enjoyed visiting with the patrons and meeting new people. She was a cat lover who owned several cats over the years.
Mary is survived by her son, Mark (Janice) Barth; her daughter, Vicky (Charles) Robinson; her brother, Joe Meix; grandchildren, James (Tara) Howe, Robert Howe and Beccah Roemer, Valerie Howe, Seana Howe, and Mark (Shara) Barth; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Vera, Cason, Keagan and Kane; in addition to many other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Gaye; and her sons, Tom and Terry.
