NANCY ROSE KASPEOWICZ

      Nancy Rose Kasprowicz, 81, of Union Grove, passed away at her home on Dec. 11, 2024. On March 10, 1943, she was born to John and Sylvia Blum in Union Grove where she lived her entire life.

Nancy graduated from the Teacher’s College in 1963 and began teaching at Yorkville Elementary School at the age of 20. Nancy married Richard Kasprowicz in 1966 and they raised four children together. She furthered her education with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Teaching from Carthage College and earned her MBA from UW-Whitewater. She retired from Union Grove Elemetary School with a teaching career that spanned over 35 years.

Nancy was devoted to the education of her students and to the betterment of her community. She served for many years as a member of the Graham Public Library Board and as part of the Union Grove Area Food Bank. She was a lifelong member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and participated in the Women’s Auxilliary there. Nancy loved to travel and spent much of her free time reading. The most important thing during her retirement was spending time with her grandchildren and making sure she was a big part of their lives.

Nancy is survived by her children, Rich (Sherrie), Todd (Jade), Scott (Lindsay), and William (Janine); grandchildren, Kayli, Aiden, Kali, Taylor (Kody), Samantha (Jarvis), Maxwell, Skyler, Rylee, Noah, Shelby, Haven, Joshua, Ella, and Maverick; and great-grandchildren, Brody, Remi, and Blake. She is also survived by her siblings, William (Janet) Blum, Robert (Joan) Blum, and John (Mary Lou) Blum; siblings-in-law, Susan Kasprowicz, Audrey, David, Betty, Dennis (Lori), Rita (Stan), Diane, and Paulette; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Richard and her parents.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 from 4 until 7 p.m. and again at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024 from 10 until 11 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial at Union Grove Memorial Cemetery will immediately follow.
