Patrick A. Becker, 91, was born into Eternal Life on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024. He was born March 17, 1932, in Burlington to Arthur and Frances (nee Neuman) Becker. He lived his entire life in Waterford. In 1958, he was united in marriage to Marian Petroviak.
Patrick was the beloved dad of Dave Becker and the proud grandpa of Jacob and Dylan. He is also survived by his brother James, loving daughter-in-law Jackie Becker, and other relatives and friends.
Patrick is preceded in death by his wife Marion Becker, parents Arthur and Frances Becker, son Steven Becker, sister Marion and brother-in-law Harold Petroviak.
Patrick attended St. Thomas Aquinas Grade School and graduated from Waterford Union High School in 1951. He served in the United States Army. Pat was a volunteer member of the Waterford Fire Department from 1959-1990, serving as chief for his last 12 years and was the past president of the Racine County Fire Chiefs Association. As a man of strong faith, he was a devoted member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Waterford. He was also charter member of Waterford Lions Club and Southeastern Wisconsin Antique and Power & Collectible Society. In 1957, Patrick began his own auto repair shop and snow removal business.
Pat enjoyed fishing with his sons in Alaska and Canada, restoring antique engines and visiting the recliner group. He will be remembered for his sense of humor.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 9 until 10:45 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 145 6th St., Waterford, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m.
