Richard “Dick” Otto, 80 passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his home.
Dick was born in Marshall, Missouri on Feb. 21, 1944, to Marvin and Alice (nee Skinner) Otto. He moved to the Wausau and Rhinelander area at the age of seven. He then moved at the age of 14 to Milwaukee to attend High School.
Dick was drafted into the Army in 1965 and was stationed overseas in Germany. On Aug. 19, 1967, he was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Becker at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Waterford. Following marriage they made their home in Waterford.
Dick was a CNC operator for many years. He loved hunting, especially duck hunting and deer hunting. He also enjoyed bowling and horseshoes.
Dick is survived by his wife Barbara; daughters Christine Lee (Robert) Willick and Kerry Ann (Paul) Fritz; grandchildren, Noel (Michael) Zuba and Eric (Kate Choitz) Willick; great-grandchildren Harper and Hudson Zuba; brother-in-law, Craig (Tammy) Becker; nieces, Tricia (Mark) and Tiffany (Mike). He was preceded in death by his parents, and mother and father-in-law, Calvin and Barbara Becker.
Private services for the family will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove.
