Robert “Bob” F. Hulse, 100, of Burlington, passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2024 at Oak Park Place.
Born in Stoneham, Colorado on March 22, 1924, he was the son of Oliver and Anna (nee Grady) Hulse. His early life was spent on the family farm in the plains of Colorado, where he graduated from Brush High School. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II, serving overseas in the Pacific. On Sept. 16, 1950, he was united in marriage to Donna Steffen. Following marriage, they made Burlington their home. Donna preceded him in death on April 11, 2005.
Bob worked as a salesman for Steffens for 25 years before finishing his career at Sears. He was a member of Cross Lutheran Church, American Legion and Masons. He was known for being a sheepshead player and also for being annoyingly lucky. He enjoyed bowling and was a life-long Cubs fan. He was also very active in Cub Scouts in his younger years.
Bob is survived by his children, Dale (Debbie) Hulse, Randall (Theone Andrew) Hulse and Scott (Joy) Hulse; and granddaughter Emily Hulse. He was preceded in death by his parents and all his siblings.

Services for Bob will be held Friday, Nov. 22, 2024 at Noon at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until Noon at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Burlington Cemetery.
