SALLY MARIE REESMAN

      Sally Marie Reesman, a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on her 65th birthday, Dec. 16, 2024, in the warmth of her memories and the embrace of those who loved her.       Born on Dec. 16, 1959, in Racine, Sally radiated a light that touched all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.

Sally was a bright soul, full of joy, with a heart that cherished her family and friends. She was empowered by Careers Industries, which recognized her remarkable abilities and unwavering spirit. She found purpose and pride in her work at Pizza Hut in Burlington, where she became a cherished presence and the longest-serving employee. Her warmth and dedication transformed each interaction with her colleagues and customers into lasting connections.

A passionate advocate for inclusion and celebration, Sally proudly participated in the Special Olympics, reveling in the camaraderie and joy of community. She found immense pleasure in the simple joys of life-running errands, embarking on car trips with her parents, and creating treasured memories that would last a lifetime. Sally’s laughter could light up any room, and her ability to connect with others was truly a gift to behold.

Sally is survived by her loving sister, Nancy (Jim) Andersen; sister-in-law, Laurida Reesman; nieces and nephews, Steven (Robin) Reesman, Michael (Karrie) Reesman, John (Gabriel) Reesman, Mary (Tim) Parker, Donna Donalies, Diane (John) Renteria, Linda Donalies, David Donalies, Kimberlyn (Joe) Mueller, Jon Andersen; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Idyll Reesman; brother, Robert Reesman; and sister, Doris Donalies.

In honor of Sally’s life and legacy, a memorial service will be held to celebrate her remarkable spirit and the love she left behind. The celebration will take place on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, from 1 until 4 p.m., at Tichigan Lake Lions Club and Civic Center, 6710 Big Bend Road, Waterford. Friends and family are invited to gather and reflect on the incredible impact she had on all who knew her.

As we bid farewell to this beautiful soul, we will carry her kindness, laughter, and love in our hearts, forever inspired by her unwavering spirit. Rest in peace, dear Sally. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
