William “Bill” H. Wagner, 70, of Antioch, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2024 at Froedtert South Hospital in Pleasant Prairie.
Born in Burlington on Feb. 5, 1954, he was the son of Robert and Elizabeth (nee Heintskil) Wagner. His early life was spent in Burlington, where he graduated from Burlington High School and earned a college degree from Gateway Technical College. On Dec. 14, 1996 in Woodstock, Illinois, he was united in marriage to Jean Swenson. Following marriage, they made Antioch their home.
Bill owned his own business as an aviation restoration expert. He also worked for Delta Airlines, Wag-Aero and was a member of MAAC. He was very active at the Burlington Airport and volunteered at the Kelch Aviation Museum in Brodhead. He enjoyed working on antique aircraft and classic cars. He also enjoyed the outdoors, wild bird watching, spending time with his family, his dogs and Nascar.
Bill is survived by his wife, Jean; daughter Nikole Wagner; siblings, John Wagner, Joel Wagner and Marge (Mark) Johnston; in-laws, Elaine Wagner and Bobbie Wagner; and his faithful companions, Murdock and Barnaby. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Bob Wagner, Dick Wagner and Jim Wagner.

A visitation honoring Bill will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024 from 4 until 7 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home.
