Arthur Harvey Chenier, 75, from Wind Lake and formerly of Southgate, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at St. Luke’s Medical Center.
Arthur was born Dec. 18, 1949, to the late Arthur and Ruby Chenier. He graduated from Southgate High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. On July 3, 1971, Arthur married the love of his life, Jaqueline. In 1973 they moved to Milwaukee, and in 1974 they settled in Wind Lake. They spent over 50 beautiful years together and raising their family.
Arthur served in the Navy for four years with a tour in Vietnam. Afterward, he went on to be a crane operator for Allis Chalmers. He was a diesel mechanic for Dueco Industries before he retired.
Arther will be dearly missed by his loving wife Jacqui; his children Michelle (Brett), Scott (Danny), and Shannon (Jason); his beloved grandchildren Quientin, Faith, and Braydon, as well as great-granddaughter WillowBee. He is further survived by his sister Beverly.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Integrity Celebration Center, 2789 Browns Lake Dr., Burlington. Visitation will be from 2:30 until 3:50 p.m. followed by a service with military honors. A private burial will take place Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight.
