LOIS L. CRAMER

      Lois L. Cramer, 83, of Burlington, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 at Oak Ridge Care Center.

Born in Burlington on Feb. 26, 1941, she was the daughter of Cecil and Elinore (nee Sykes) Vos. Her early life was spent in Burlington. On June 18, 1960 at St. Mary Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Gerald Cramer. They resided in Burlington until 1997, when they moved to Camp Douglas. They returned to Burlington in 2018.

Lois was a homemaker, worked numerous jobs and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a Packer fan and enjoyed playing horseshoes and decorating while at Oak Park Place. She also made coasters and collected turtle decorations.

Lois is survived by her husband, Gerald; children, Dawn Jahns, Jeff (Mary Birren) Cramer, Penny Calmes, Steve (Yvette) Cramer, Craig (Jill) Cramer and Jerald (Kami Miller) Cramer; grandchildren, Chelsey (Nick) Fritchen, Tyler Calmes, Hannah (Jesse Burns) Calmes, Brooke Collins, Trenton (Megan) Cramer, Michael (Emily) Fallon, Derrick (Shannon) Fallon, Kelly (Chais) Parkos, Claudia Cramer and Carson Cramer; eighteen great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ronnie (Mary) Vos, Linda Eppers, Jerry Vos and Phillip Vos. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Carol Kramer, Joannie Smith and Wayne Vos.

The family would like to thank the staff at Oak Park Place for their continuous care over the last six years, and the staff at Oak Ridge Care Center for their care in her last weeks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Parish.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Lois on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until Noon at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Burial will follow Mass at St. Mary Cemetery.
