Peter Michael “Pete” Leach, 71, of Kansasville, passed away peacefully at his home in Elkhorn on May 19, 2025. Pete was born Dec 4, 1953, in Burlington, to Harold and Ruth (Clark) Leach.
Dawn Simon and Pete were united in marriage on Jan. 5, 2025, and lived together in Elkhorn.
Pete is survived by and will be deeply missed by his wife Dawn; his children Michael (Ariel) Leach of Burlington, Alexis (Heath) Henning of East Troy, Michelle (Kyle) Page of Surf City, North Carolina, and Samantha (Jacob) Flygare of Roscoe, Illinois; his 19 grandchildren; his siblings Sandy Taylor, Paul (Judy) Leach, Mary Jo (Victor) Palma, William (Theresa) Leach, and Harvey (Cheryl) Leach; many nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Andrew Leach.
Celebration of life will be Friday, May 30, 2025, at Integrity Celebration Center, 2789 Browns Lake Dr., Burlington. Visitation will be from 1p.m. until the open mic service at 2:30 p.m. Pete will be laid to rest at 3:30 p.m. at Rosewood Cemetery, Durand Ave., Dover.
