The Burlington co-op swim team dominated its final regular-season invite of the season Saturday, winning the Racine Invite at Case High School.
The squad scored 601 points, easily outdistancing the rest of the field in spite of diving being included at the meet.
Kenosha Tremper was a distant second with 387 points, while host Case was third with 307 and Kenosha Bradford fourth with 300.
The co-op team finished with 22 top-five finishes, including both the A and B relays in the 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay.
The 200 medley A team of Natalie Pufahl, Emily Gomez, Brittany Ehlert and Serena Wanasek won in 1:59.08, while the B team of Marah Zinnen, Hannah Duerst, Samantha Dziak and Hannah Meyer was fifth in 2:08.30.
In the 400 free relay, the team of Sara and Serena Wanasek and Emily and Anna Gomez was first in 3:45.27, while the B team of Coriann Dorgay, Camille Neitzel, Abby Hansen and Duerst was second in 4:05.56.
Serena Wanasek, Sara Wanasek and Emily Gomez all won two individual events. Serena Wanasek won the 200 individual medley (2:17.57) and the 100 free (56.09), while her sister Sara won the 200 free (2:00.80) and the 500 free (5:22.86).
Emily Gomez won the 100 butterfly in 1:03.20 and the 100 backstroke in 1:02.65. Her sister Anna, meanwhile, was second in both the 200 free (2:01.09) and the 500 free (5:26.32).
Hansen finished second in the 100 free in 58.09, and was third in the 100 backstroke in 1:03.82.
Ehlert added a pair of top-three finishes as well, taking second in the 100 fly (1:05.50) and third in the 50 free (26.98), while Coriann Dorgay helped Burlington complete the sweep of the top three in the 200 free taking third (2:08.47).
The final top five individual finishes came from Hannah Meyer (fifth in the 50 free, 27.43), Camille Neitzel in the 500 free (5:51.01), Hannah Duerst (fifth in the 100 breaststroke, 1:19.81) and Payton Kennicott (fourth in the 100 back, 1:08.05).
The A squad in the 200 free relay also won, with the squad of Sara Wanasek, Ehlert, Hansen and Anna Gomez giving the co-op team the sweep of the relays in 1:46.90.
