The Catholic Central High School girls and boys cross country teams finished 11th and 12th, respectively, at Saturday’s Chocolate City Invite at the St. Francis Friary and Retreat.
The CCHS girls were led by sophomore Kourtney Mulhollon, who took 42nd in 17:01.7. Kathleen Straube was two spots back in 44th (17:04.6).
Rounding out the CCHS girls scorers were Cassie Reesman in 51st (17:13.4), Jennifer Smith in 66th (17:49.3) and Patty Kempken in 80th (18:22.9).
For the boys, Sam Joski was the only Hilltopper in the top 50, taking 35th in 17:43.9.
Rounding out Catholic Central’s scoring runners were Tyler Kurpiel (57th, 18:30), Jake Laforest (61st, 18:35.5), Gavin Foote (73rd, 19:01.1) and Gavin Clayton (82nd, 19:13.6).
