While area baseball teams saw their seasons end Tuesday in sectional play, two softball teams will be playing in WIAA sectional finals Thursday to decide who makes the trip to state.
In Division 1, Union Grove and Westosha Central will travel to Wilmot for a 4:30 p.m. game on the Highway C field. Westosha upended No. 1-ranked Wilmot in the sectional semifinals, while Union Grove is ranked sixth.
Catholic Central, meanwhile, will travel to Beaver Dam to play Oakfield in a 4:30 p.m. Division 4 sectional final. CCHS is ranked fourth, while Oakfield tops the Division 4 rankings.

On sectional baseball action Tuesday, Burlington High School made it to the Division 1 sectional final before losing 5-4 to Kenosha Bradford. Catholic Central, meanwhile, fell to Shellsburg/Benton 3-2 in the sectional semifinals at Beaumont Field.
