On Thursday afternoon, Southern Lakes Newspapers Sports Editor Mike Ramczyk conducted an exclusive interview with 1998 Burlington High School grad and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo at his annual football camp.
The former classmates played catch, and Romo didn’t take it easy on the past-his-prime Ramczyk, who just turned 33. Bullets by Romo were followed by lobs by Ramczyk, who didn’t want to risk the star player’s million-dollar hands.
It was all in good fun, as Romo expounded on growing up in Burlington, the hardship of being undrafted, being a good father and the origin of his extremely competitive nature.
