Curtis J. Schweitzer, 66, died unexpectedly on Dec. 28, 2014. He was born Jan. 7, 1948, to the late Milton and Rita (Acker) Schweitzer.
He graduated from Waterford High School and lived in Waterford his entire life. He was the lead maintenance man for Housing with Help for many years before his retirement. He loved fishing, golfing and his family.
Survivors include his brothers, Gerald (Connie) Schweitzer, Steve (Kim) Schweitzer; sisters, Mary (Lenis) Andersen, Julie Schweitzer; sister-in-law, Barb Schweitzer; nephews; nieces; and his very special friend, Pat Carmack and her grandchildren.
He was further preceded in death by his parents; brother, Doug and his beloved wife Sandy (Sullivan) Schweitzer.
On Saturday, Jan. 24, there will be a visitation from 10:30-11:30 a.m., at Community United Methodist Church, 455 S. Jefferson St., Waterford. A memorial service will take place at 11:30 a.m., with a luncheon immediately to follow. Integrity Funeral Services, Waterford, is serving the family.
He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
