City of Burlington firefighter John McCourt unfurls the American flag from the top of a ladder truck high above Don Dalton Stadium at Burlington High School Friday night. Local emergency service providers – from police to firefighters and rescue personnel – encircled the stadium for a solemn, yet stirring, remembrance of the lives lost during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
