A home on North Tichigan Road is being called a “complete loss” after a two-alarm blaze early in the morning Saturday.
According to Tichigan Fire Chief David Wagner, a report of a fire came in at about 2 a.m. Saturday morning. While the family escaped from the home, by the time firefighters arrived, the fire was fully involved.
“It was a defensive operation,” Wagner said.
Wagner said that fire companies from around the area responded, including the City and Town of Burlington departments, Waterford, Rochester, Wind Lake, Big Bend and Mukwonago.
